Report: Huerta off UFC 74 card

UFCJunkie.com is reporting that Roger Huerta has been moved from the UFC 74 card in July to the live season finale of The Ultimate Fighter 5 on June 23. No opponent has been named.

So we’re going to get the lightweight final, Huerta, and Jens Pulver vs. B.J. Penn? That sounds pretty awesome.

    Are we going to see Huerta-Garcia II on national television for free? Garcia was just announced as being on that card, and now we have Huerta being moved frmo UFC 74 to the same card as Garcia. Both are without opponents.

    I don’t think they would give him an opponent of Garcia’s caliber on such short notice. I think it will be another showcase for Huerta.
