Will Big ‘Nog get licensed?

After watching the TUF finale last night and finally seeing ads that were promoting Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s debut at UFC 73 in a couple of weeks, I started thinking “Will he be able to get licensed?”

UFC 73 will be held in Sacramento, Calif. Maybe it’s just me but hasn’t CSAC flagged a lot of guys recently? I remember when the UFC first signed Big ‘Nog there were some rumors as to whether he could get licensed in the U.S. because of a degenerative eye condition. I have no idea if those rumors are true, but if they are, then we will definitely find out in the next few weeks.

    It’s UFC. Somehow they don’t have the same issues as other promoters in the state of California.
