Meltzer says there’s nothing to Arlovski vs. Vera rumors

UFCMania.com reported the other day that a potential match at UFC 78 between Andrei Arlovski and Brandon Vera had been discussed.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that according to the UFC, there’s nothing to those rumors.

    I was hoping this fight would happen too, looks like we’re back to not knowing when or who Vera or Arlovski will fight next. By the way any word from his arbitration hearing? It was to take place yesterday or today but I have yet to hear what come of it.

    I am just hoping that UFC officials are saying that only because of the arbitration hearing.
