Report: Riggs says he’s fighting Mayhem
According to Joe Riggs in an article that appears on The Fight Network’s web site, his first match for the WEC will be in October and his first opponent will be none other than Jason “Mayhem” Miller.

Not only that, but Riggs adds that the winner will get a shot at Paulo Filho… uh, I mean the winner of tomorrow night’s match between Filho and Joe Doerksen for the vacant WEC middleweight title.

this’ll be a tough matchup for Mayhem, he’s a upper-tier fighter, but he’s struggled with accurate strikers. on the other hand, Riggs hasn’t shown the greatest chin in the world. Especially when it’s Diego Sanchez’s knee that’s hitting it.

These prospective match-ups are really exciting, maybe even more so than current forecast of UFC bouts. So glad that I get Versus. Looking forward to this weekend’s card.
