Ben Rothwell to fight Ricco Rodriguez at IFL team finals
According to the IFL’s official web site, IFL.tv, Tom Sauer is out of Thursday’s team finals due to injury. Sauer was set to represent Renzo Gracie’s New York Pitbulls in the finals against Ben Rothwell of the Quad Cities Silverbacks.
The IFL has come up with one hell of a last minute replacement, because according to Ben Fowlkes, former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez will be stepping in for Sauer (who was replacing Bryan Vetell) against Rothwell.
Rothwell vs. Rodriguez is going to be a great match and one I’d love to be able to see live.

Ricco isn’t at the top of the game, but it will be a good test for a a guy who hasn’t fought top-level guys yet.
