DirecTV offering special UFC PPV deal to subscribers
I noticed over the weekend that DirecTV is offering customers that are planning on ordering UFC 77, 78, and 79 in the upcoming months a special deal.
If you order all three by Oct. 20 it will still cost you the $120 that it will cost you if you order them separately. However, if you order all three by the deadline you’ll get a free UFC DVD, a free TapouT skullcap, and a one-year free membership to the UFC Fight Club.

Certainly not a bad way to get some people to sign up, but the free extras might not appeal as much to an enthusiast. The TapouT guys are borderline WWE, the DVD might be cool, and the fight club membership seems pretty bland considering you get a month free each time you vote via text message during the UFC fights. It’s a great way to make some money from the casual fan, however.
