I hope the same thing, but if it was such a sweet deal, wouldn't we have heard separately of a major cable outlet being interested in getting aboard? Live fights cost money. I wish cable networks were so willing. Versus is probably losing money on there WEC deal, and I'd think they look at it as something of a loss leader. Also, if a deal does go through, I wonder how this effects Strikeforce and Elite XC relations. I'm guessing it seriously complicates them, and Frank Shamrock would be short term in the middle. Live fights have been one of the keys to both WEC and Elite XC's success. Not showing live fights has really hurt both the IFL and Bodog Fight.
