I believe hiring or firing someone because of their political, religious, or racial identity is illegal and a violation of civil rights. Doesn’t matter if you’re a corporation or not.

You’re right that Costa is taking advantage of his free speech rights by wearing the swastika tattoos. In the US, nobody can stop him from having those tattoos.

However, KOTC is a private company and they have the right to decide who to work with and, more importantly, who to promote via their organization.

It is perfectly legitimate for them to choose not to promote him (and his views by association) If Costa wants to fight in their organization, he can alter or remove the tattoos.

They should let Melvin Costa fight. They will be taking away his free speech right if the organization cuts him. He might be able to sue, which I hope he does if this becomes the case. They let Mike Tyson fight after he put a Malcom X tattoo on himself. And Malcom X was for the advancement of the black race and black culture. Nothing wrong with loving your people as long as you don’t hurt nobody there’s nothing wrong here.
