I think taking himself out of his routine was key. Taking himself out of the element in Cincinnati with all the hype building, in my opinion, was probably a good thing for him.

"For those of you who think Franklin’s going to get slaughtered again by Silva, I’d urge you to listen to this interview."

Hmm, listened to it twice, I don't hear anything different from any other Franklin hype. Except he took himself out of his routine (aren't you the one who said for Sylvia "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?") and he seems pretty confident he's going to take it to him.

Problem is I love Franklin as a fighter, dude is a brawler, he's technical and he's a well spoken/intelligent fighter.

I just think Silva has too many of these abilities as well as many other tools he has yet to showcase. And he has crazy gumby legs.

Regardless, this is going to be an awesome card. I just hope at some point we see *at least* one KO, cause the mass decision of the last card proved evenly matched but not as exciting.

Whoever walks out with the belt Saturday the UFC can still be happy they have a class act as the champ. Not a cheater like Sherk. :P

Speaking of interviews, and I'm sure Sam will plug this on the site when he gets a chance, but the interview he did with our site the other day that he posted about is now available for listening pleasure.

It is broken in to 2 parts, a 2 hour interview will do that, and can be accessed at the following link:
