Uhh, since Randy walked, he's not really the HW champ and Fedor is the champ of a UFC property anyway? Why not just make it a Superfight? Randy is going to walk after Fedor and if Randy can't beat Fedor, no way in hell is the UFC going to throw another top HW under the Fedor-Bus. :P

Like Ben said above, it's a one off, have em brawl, then Randy can get back in the broadcaster booth with Rogan and Goldie, UFC 77 was just painful with those two spodes the whole night. :P

Has there ever been a successful MMA PPV that wasn’t UFC? Who and what event got the most buys that weren’t the UFC?

They are walking on some risky ground here…business do after all need to make a profit. I think the UFC will do everything they can here to schedule events close to anything M-1 Does do draw away PPV dollars or ratings if it’s on TV. They have always done this. Didn’t the WFA even publicly complain about it?

Many of the questions I had myself and it seems every other MMA journalist had as well. Definitely a lot to be learned still from M-1. One recurring theme though we keep hearing from these new organizations is that they won't have exclusive contracts and they are going to take care of their fighters. It seems like they are banking on this to attract talent away from the UFC, which has yet to work with the other organizations trying it. Courture may be the first, I guess, to see if it does in a way.
