This was brief b/c he just couldn't get over the hump but was given a second chance w/ EliteXC. If you saw the Big Perm fight then you know how well that turned out for Cantrell. He followed that up w/ at least 3 more quick losses. Like J Bryant said above, he was Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Champion with 5 title defenses so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Bo TKO Kimbo. This is Kimbo's first real MMA fight and he's fighting a seasoned veteran, not a can like Bourke, so I'm not sure this is the best idea for Kimbo and Showtime. You want your 1st fight to be against a total can or a guy w/ no fights as well... risky. Either way, I'm looking forward to this fight. I'll get to watch the match without having to jump through any hoops. I think Kimbo has a chance to be a really big star, he has a huge following already on the internet, is unique, interesting, seemingly intelligent (in the commentary I've watched) and very polarizing. I like EliteXC and consider them the primary rival to the UFC, the locale (cage), rules, reffing are very familar to me so I don't have to adjust how I personally view/judge their fights.
