Sean Salmon suffers seizure in ring after 24 second KO

MMAjunkie.com has spoken to California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Armando Garcia. Garcia told MMAjunkie.com that Sean Salmon suffered a seizure in the ring and it has the medical staff incredibly concerned. Garcia told MMAjunkie.com that it is too early to determine if the seizure is career-threating or not, and he will have an update for us.

What a dull night of fights. So glad it was free because I would have been quite disappointed to pay for it. Nice work by Jorge and Alister. I’m sure the less than intriguing UFC card Saturday will be quite a bit more entertaining.

Also, I appreciate the live stream, but I’m interesting in hearing Mr. Caplan’s review of production values. If this was supposed to intrigue me to a buy a future pay-per-view it certainly didn’t work. Also, announcing a very nice fight between The Punk and Gilbert is great…but more than 4 months from now??? Perhaps it was intended more for the San Jose crowd than the stream audience.

Also, Cung Lee and Frank Juarez isn’t that interesting to me right now. I really don’t like in post fight interviews when fighters talk about “making money together”. Build the fight, I don’t care that you think it will sell. I wouldn’t buy it right now anyway. Love to see one of them take on Lindland. Bout time Matt returns to the middleweight ranks anyway. Let’s see Cung or Frank get past Matt and then see what’s what.

    I’m the man!

Unfortunately, I will be unable to do a review as I did not watch the show. I trained Friday night and will be training again this morning as Kenny Florian will be at the school I train at doing a 3-hour seminar. I needed to get some sleep.

If a replay is available, I will definitely check it out and give my thoughts.

Who said Cung Lee isnt for real? This guy is the real deal…he’s done nothing but impressed me everytime I’ve seen him fight.

    Great job!
