Josh Koscheck vs. Dustin Hazelett a Possibility for UFC 82
MMAMania, knowing all things AKA, had the knowledge last week of a possible fight between Dustin Hazelett and Josh Koscheck at UFC 82 on March 1. Apparently Koscheck was on the list of possible replacements for Matt Serra for UFC 79, but since that is not going to happen, a fight with Hazelett is a real possibility. No paperwork has been filled out yet, but a source close to MMAMania.com is confirming the fight.

I’ll take Hazelett in this one. He is a giant Welterweight and has great submissions.

Should be a great fight, but I have to lean towards Kos here unfortunately. I think Kos will come in with his “Diego” gameplan and keep it standing. Is Hazelett’s wrestling good enough to get the fight to the ground? Probably not, which means if it’s on the ground it’s because Kos wants to be there.
