Apparently it started when he called Koppenhaver and a few other dudes tough guys because they were shirtless leaning against a building. So War Machine RNC'd him and dragged him backwards, and then one of em hit him on the ground. Even if the victim doesn't know who hit him, all people involved in the assault are equally responsible under the theory of aiding and abetting. In other words, if I held you while my friend beat the tar out of you, we have both comitted assault. If he is charged with assault by means of force likley to produce great bodily injury, his background as a fighter is very relevant. Shoot, if I was prosecuting him I would just throw in some footage of him training and show that he is particularly dangerous with his hands. I am a lawyer, and a prosecutor as well. If "War Machine" can avoid being implicated (even as a conspirator), then he's going to be treated as a ringleader. Shoot, if you're name is War Machine, then the prosecutor will have plenty of ammo against you in an assault and battery case. Maybe his rough childhood will carry more weight in court than it did during that MMA soap opera called The Ultimate Fighter. Especially not when the only eyewitness says Koppenhaver wasn't the assailant.
