Yet another opponent change for Chris Horodecki

The IFL has announced that Ryan Schultz will replace John Gunderson as Chris Horodecki’s opponent on Dec. 29 in the lightweight finals of the IFL World Grand Prix in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Gunderson was forced to bow out after aggravating a hand injury while preparing for the bout vs. Horodecki.

It was just earlier this week that Gunderson was named as a replacement for Shad Lierley, who injured himself during training.

This is the third opponent change Horodecki has experienced for this match, as he was originally scheduled to face Wagnney Fabiano for the title. A decision was made to crown a champion at 145 lbs.  and Fabiano was shifted to featherweight with Lierley, a tournament alternate at lightweight, was inserted into the tournament final in Fabiano’s place.

I will have to say. The IFL’s Grand Prix has had too many changes with the fights. Wasnt every weight class affected?

If I was Horodecki I would be pissed. How can you be expected to be prepared when your opponents chaned 2 times in a few weeks.
