Franklin denies reports that he’s signed to fight in March
Former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin has left a message at RichFranklin.com in which he denies reports that he’s signed a contract to fight on March 1 at UFC 82 in Columbus, Ohio:
I am told there are rumors of me fighting multiple people in March. I have not signed for a fight in March. I don’t believe that I am allowed to fight more than once in a night. I hope this clears up any confusion. I have not signed to fight anyone in March, or any other month.
The reports stated that a match was officially made for the UFC 82 card that would pit Franklin against Travis Lutter.

What does he mean more than once?????? He said he IS’NT fighting at all. Dont understand the bit about more than ONCE in a night????

bigfish – In the begining he says that there have been rumors of him fighting “multiple” people in March, so I assume he means he is not signed up to fight Luter or whoever else he is rumored to fight or both/all of them. I think he was being wise
