Ariel Gandulla tests positive for Nandrolone
MMA Weekly’s got the dirt:
Ariel Gandulla, who last fought at the World Extreme Cagefighting event in Las Vegas on Dec. 12, has tested positive for the anabolic steroid Nandrolone according to Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Gandulla fought Doug Marshall at WEC 31 a little over a week ago for the light heavyweight title and got stuck in an armbar in the opening moments of the first round. Another fighter under the Zuffa banner testing positive for Nandrolone.

give em a break…he didn’t know it was illegal. He thought it was the generic brand of advil.
I can’t believe these guys…taking steriods and thinking that they’d get away with it?
I just have no respect for cheaters.

It would be scary to see jsut exactly how many fighters are juicing……
If the UFC would surprise EVERYONE on their fighter list say, RIGHT NOW, with a steroid test….it would catch so many not expecting it, or expecting time to cycle off before they actually fight.
I hate to say it, but I would bet that the number would be close to ONE third(1/3) of all fighters would test positve.
Any time in the future they ever surprise EVERYONE with a test, it would not be pretty!!!!

they need to state that if you do steriods and get caught that you will never fight for UFC ever again.
they need to be alot more strict. They are just slapping these guys on the wrists and sending them home for vacation.

Totally agree dizzle but you ensure the testing process by the gov body is solid first. NSAC and CSAC obviously have holes.
But once something like that is done I would like to see a 1 year suspension then a life time bad for the second offense. Clean this sh-t up.

2nd offense should be really strict.
a good punishment for us in wrestling was if you got caught doing something then you had to clean the mats for a week.
some type of punishment like that would clean things up….no pun intended.

Never thought of that but I would not be surprised in the least if he did take some for the Tito fight. His ego is that big.
