I watched it and I was disappointed. It’s more campy and over the top than the original. The gladiators managed to be schlocky cartoon characters without being compelling.

And after 15 years are you telling me that they couldn’t come up with new challenges?

Im sorry, but i loved this show, i grew up watching it on Saturday morns. This was always a little corny, but Hulk and Laila’s interviews were painful at times. Gina looked supa hot, and i freaking loved seeing her pull guard as she tumbled down the pyramid!

Evan, I loved that show as a kid too. When some random contestant got CRUSHED by two Gladiators in powerball I’d laugh my ass off… cause the other contestant then got to stroll to the center bucket for double points.

And besides who DIDNT want to use those crazy airguns and shoot those missiles at the target above that tennis ball shooter thing. Every kid with a nerf gun imagined themselves doing that.

I read on wikipedia that this season some contestants get F-ed up. Broken femur, torn ACL. That’s some serious shit. I wonder if NBC is paying those medical bills?

Take it for what it is, a brainless show that is just cheap entertainment.I liked it. It was fun.

I remember Australian Gladiators… with Vulcan and Tower. There was also the really annoying lady co host who did the post event interviews.

“Tower knocked you off the podium in the opening seconds. Was that your plan?!”

“Your ACL deteriorated. Was that your plan?!”

Wait a minute. There was a girl in the showed named Siren who was deaf? In honor of the old show maybe they could have a blind guy named Eagle Eye or a guy with no package named Lucky.

Fact of the day:
The guy beside Gina used to be a porn model. Hurrah! I kind of refuse to watch this show. The Apprentice is soul sucking as it is, I can’t bother with more reality TV per week.
