Report: Japanese MMA prospect on the verge of signing with the UFC
Japanese MMA prospect Yoshiyuki Yoshida is expected to sign a contract with the UFC as early as Monday, according to Jordan Breen of Sherdog.com.
Breen was able to confirm through Yoshida’s management that Yoshida will sign a four-fight contract and could make his UFC debut in April.
Yoshida will likely compete in the UFC’s welterweight division, as he’s the 170-pound Cage Force tournament champion.

Have you heard if Zuffa signed Yoshiro Maeda from Japan to fight in the WEC?
Glad to see that finally happened. I think he can make some noise in the division, he has a very American style and uses the cage well to his advantage. Those elbows he used on Kikuchi were vicious. I am interested to see if they sign any of the other guys who at least reached the finals of the Cage Force tourney because they were all good fighters that could fight in the UFC or WEC.
