Diego Sanchez Has New Opponent For UFC 82
Diego Sanchez has issued a bulletin from his MySpace page saying that he will be facing David Bielkheden at UFC 82 on March 1 in Columbus, Ohio.
Sanchez previously announced that he would be facing Roan Carneiro at the same event. It is unknown why plans have changed.
Bielkheden is from Sweden and will be making his UFC debut. He holds a12-5 record, including four knockouts and five submissions. He is listed at 165 lbs which leaves a question about the weight class for this fight. Diego has previously stated that he fully intends to stay in the 170 lb class.
Sanchez looks to get things back on track after coming off consecutive losses to Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch.

Diego is a TUF star and Arlovski is on the last fight of his contract and wants a new one with guaranteed 7 figure paydays. Pretty obvious as too which one will have a fight aired on the ppv, imho.

MMA Weekly says that Carnerio is sick with an undisclosed illness. Also says several fighters supposedly turned Diego down so this Swede is the only guy they could get to step up.
