I watched the fights and enjoyed them, but the only fighter who really impressed me was Paul Daley. Alvarez looked good, but I can’t get past his loss to Nick “the goat” in Bodog. The majority of the fighters aren’t up to UFC quality, and I was surprised at how many of them seemed gassed by the second round.
“aren’t up to UFC quality”
Depends on which kind of UFC quality you are talking about. Every match was better than Swick/Burkman.
Paul Daley is the man! He looked awesome…
PLEASE!
quit w/ the swick/burkman stuff.
nobody’s willing to let that go!
burkman performed poorly w/ his takedowns.
and it was swicks 170 debut.
bottom line.
now.
i agree w/ wolfe in that paul daley was awesome!
man, i knew sammy morgan had that chin from the TUF days.
and it was only a matter of time before daley caught him.
those elbows were beautiful.
there’s not too much of that good old fashioned muay thai in the UFC.
/w the exception of VERA,SILVA, W. SILVA, AND A FEW OTHERS.
Quach really impressed me.
i just can’t believe he couldn’t finish the fight.
