January 31, 2008 by Adam Morgan

Here’s a video courtesy of MMA Madness where Brock Lesnar talks to the media during UFC’s media day. At least the guy’s got a sense of humor.

Seems to have a pretty sober, realistic perspective on the fight

I actually kind of like this guy more now that I see him in a more humble interview and less “roid” pumped. Makes this fight more interesting to me now.

I saw the preview of UFC 81 last night and only a fraction of the interview was him being a jerk. He seems like a good guy, but I still have a problem with the defiance showed by people like him, and Sherk, because I know they have used performance enhancing drugs. Instead of admit it, they get mad and defiant, which makes it worse.

Lesnar also made sense when he said what his options were; risk doing something else or take 250k and go wrestle. I’m sure the majority of us would have taken the money instead of risk everything by doing something else.

For the record I hate Sherk 1000x more than this guy because of the way he conducted himself since he got caught. I also hate how roid users like Sherk act like he is not adored by UFC fans because of BJ Penn fans. Uh, no you cheated, lied, and people don’t like that. I wish Sherk would go away because he is terrible for this sport. Total meathead.

That said, I hope Mir destroys Lesnar. Mir is a great fighter and a good man.

lets hope to see some XTREME wwe moves.

maybe a surprise referee stone cold steve austin?

He certain seems a lot less cocky as the fight nears. Nerves?

    lol @ Paul…

i swear… you guys on this site are hilarious w/ the wwe jokes… i’ve kinda stayed away from that…

well, it’s nice to know he knows the armbar and a toe-lock..

    now that i know that..

i say Lesnar wins in 00:32 of the 1st round via Toe-lock sub.

    hahaha.

He certainly knows what he is getting into. I haven’t seem him talk too much, I am looking forward to his show on spike tonight.

He seems like an intelligent, well spoken guy. The UFC 81 preview seems to be just him hyping up the fight and showing his WWE show-biz persona. I’m pulling for this guy to win it. Nothing against Mir but Brock Lesnar could be the next big thing if he’s as good as he’s hyped up to be.

I have always wondered of moves like the sharpshooter or boston crab are legal in MMA….
    Dont laugh…. they hurt.

Maybe Brock should carry a steal chair to the ring with him!

did anyon get a good look at the shape of Brocks head?? He is very similiar to Neanderthal man or possible a gorilla

    Good Luck Frank..

  10. Ryan Seacrest on February 1st, 2008 2:23 pm

Lesnar said, “I may be new to this game but I am not stupid” Yes Brock you are stupid for taking the Mir fight….You are going to get your arm ripped off and beaten with

    you know,
i was wondering how Lesnar would adapt to the cage, because his first fight was in a ring.

    idk.

i’m sure he’s had a few steel cage matches in the WWE.

[my contribution to the Lesnar WWE jokes]

NCAA Division I champ is going to steamroll through Mir who’ll give up in the first minute.
