These are the kind of fighters who need to be focused on in the UFC. they are very humble and modest at their profession. I really appreciate how Noguiera gives props to Slyiva for being a good fighter, and he even says he’ll be ready for a rematch if it ever happens.
I think Nog would be a bad matchup for Randy. There is no clear way for Randy to win, while Nog has several options. They are about equal standing up, while Nog is much better on the ground. Nog has excellent trips to combat Randys press-em-against-the-cage tactic too…
My question with a hypothetical Nog vs. Handy matchup is – what would Nog do pinned against the cage and against elbows? I want to like Nog more but he eats too much punishment and he’s too willing to trade when he’s not as good a boxer (Maine-iac, even surprisingly – Fedor, who scored almost at will in boxing Nog). Handy is mostly dirty boxing and wrestling. How does Nog’s bjj counter? Keep pulling guard?
He can keep pulling Nog into guard, but the drawback to that is there will be no real wk from either of them on the ground. Thus scoring no points, and eventually, if Nog’s in his guard doing nothing & Randy isn’t bettering his position, the ref will stand ‘em back up. If it’s on the ground, expect Nog to wiggle him into some type of submission. As far as stand up, Randy’s exchange isn’t all that bad. He bobbed & weaved on Tim & f–ked Tim’s face up, but he lacks the reach on Nog. It’ll be interesting thoughto see, if “Handy” comes bk.
U R right, “Handy” should just retire & focus on his clothing line & training camp. I think he’s proved enough to everyone & himself that he’s one of the world’s best. Let the world turn now!

Anyone know who the guy Big Nog called out after the Sylvia fight?? All I could make out is someone named “Handy”.
Nog says “I want to come to fight Handy”. “Please, Handy, give me the opportunity”

Come on Handy, one more fight. One more fight before you go off to court for the rest of your life. You gotta fight Nog.

Would love to see that match for sure.
