Manny Gamburyan vs. Jeff Cox official for UFC Fight Night 13

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that UFC officials have confirmed the addition of Manny Gamburyan vs. Jeff Cox to the UFC Fight Night 13 card on April 2nd in Colorado. The addition of this bout now makes twelve total scheduled fights for UFC Fight Night 13.

Is that the most fights ever on a UFC card? Either way, for those people saying that UFC Fight Night 13 isn’t better than some of the pay per views last year, you’re crazy. This is one of the deepest lineups that the UFC has ever put on, pay per view or not.

If this event was in Vegas, I’d be making the 4 hr. drive.

  • only idiots or haters would say this is not a PPV quality line up.

gawd if they add 1 more fight Spike’s going to have to make it a 4 hour show!!

    get it done Dana!!

I just can’t wrap my head around this card…

They won they got their name out there more than ever before..everyone loves SpikeTV right now since they made it 3 hours..victory.

    Why keep packing it?

Maybe the will fast release a DVD of the fights? Spike has never released their fights to DVD if I am not mistaken so maybe this is their DVD launch. Anyone else think that’s possible?

Regardless…I would pay for this on PPV. No doubt.

Sam, I’ve seen Jeff Cox compete in the IFO and on ShoXC, and there’s no way he’s 6’4”. Perhaps there are two Jeff Coxes on MMA?

  • obviously something is up with having the most fights ever on a UFC card.
some ppl thought it was a push to get ppl to use UFC’s all access or whatever they call it on their site to see non-televised fights.
regardless the fans come out the winner IMO.
any good fights that do not end up on the televised card will be on Spikes unleashed :-)

White has repeatedly stated that he’s working on a major network deal and major corporate sponsors for UFC. If he puts together a great non-pay-per-view card and the ratings are good, that will enhance both efforts. Whatever the strategy, I hope the event is a huge success, because that’s the fans’ best hope for another one.

That is going to be one hell of a night on Spike TV. 3 hours of fights from what probably is the greatest UFN put together and then the TUF show which might be the most action packed TUF ever. Doesn’t get better then that!

  • Evan says:

One or two of these will get canned between now and then due to someone getting injured but they can take a hit on any fight and it will still reign supreme!

Does Dana hate the East Coast? We paid some pretty good money to see UFC 78 live in New Jersey, and the card was not even half as good as this one. I know he has mentioned coming to Boston or New York at some point, but does he take the northeast section of the country for granted, or does he just not care?
