“Cro Cop” to fight Tatsuya Mizuno at Dream 1
Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic finally has an official opponent for March 15th’s Dream 1. Pancrase veteran, Tatsuya Mizuno has been named as Cro Cop’s opponent on Dream’s official website.
A number of opponents have been rumored as potential opponents for Filipovic including, “Mighty Mo” Siala Siliga, Dong Sik Yoon, and most recently Yoshihiro Nakao.
Mizuno has a 4-2 record with his latest performance being a first round submission victory over Dave Frendin in Australia last month.

I see that not only is Mirko fighting cans, he’s fighting cans at a weight class lower than himself. That’s one way of rebuilding your reputation.
Mirko is one of my favorite fighters…this turn in his career lately…ugh…
I will still support him and hope he gets it all together but fighting like this is as transparent as it gets.
So its still Cro Cop, regardless of who he is fighting. HEADSHOT!

This fight is the equivelent to Hulk Hogan fighting the Brooklyn Brawler in WWF. A star vs. a Jobber. That is what builds your confidence and keeps you sharp…..mmmmm yeah I really don’t think so.
