Don’t know anything about the internal politics, but their fighters seem to have a predictable style. With the exception of Hughes, most of the MFS fighters are primarily strikers with a bias towards punching/clinching. They don’t seem to make full use of leg kicks or submissions. With an increasing emphasis on well-rounded skill sets, maybe they’re a little behind the curve, or at least a little too one-dimensional.

Shrug his shoulders and find employment with 1 of the 2 dozen other mma orgs that will start up and fail over the next few years.

rumor has that entire camp as sort of a dysfunctional family anyway. I don’t even think Jens is there much anymore.

I have read both of the books by/about Jens and Matt’s as well. Doesn’t seem like much love goes around and they were close initially more by necessity than choice

You have to wonder why Rothwell isn’t being considered by the UFC or his name isn’t mentioned by them…So, let me ask everyone something..If you guys haven’t noticed but it seems like the Miletich Camp fighters since the IFL Team was created are becoming almost the thing of the Past in the UFC..who’s left other than Sylvia in the UFC contract is almost up??? Hughes is doing his own thing with his HIT Camp..So I wonder if there’s a under lying ” Riff” between Miletich and the Zuffa or “Dana” since he had a IFL Team…It just seems alittle odd because a few years ago he represented half the top fighters in the UFC, Hughes,Franklin,Sylvia,Lawler etc etc..Something to think about…

Good for them, I guess. Rothwell looked good in IFL, but let’s be honest, he wasn’t fighting against top-tier heavyweights. Put him in the octagon with Tim Sylvia, his evil and more talented twin, and I don’t think he’ll compete as well as his record suggests.

So they’re just focusing on heavyweights so far? Still, they’re sounding a lot better than M1 right now.
