CBS Saturday Night Fights Commercial (video)
Here’s the commercial that played during primetime television last night during the USC vs. Kansas State game, one of the marquee games of the first round of the NCAA tournament. It was only on once that I saw, but it was in a very nice time slot for the maximum amount of exposure. Hopefully we see the second advertisement, which I think is better, during tomorrow’s games. from that it would sound very much like he would be fighting for the Elite XC HW Title? They wouldn’t put him against Antonio BigFoot Silva Yet would they?
he’ get laid out. that guys an animal and would have an experience, reach, and technical skill advantage

I thought Big Foot had a knee injury. Maybe its for an interim belt. But I am already getting excited for a free show.

wow I hope they don’t run this 10 second spot for their advertisement. This isn’t going to allow the viewer who doesn’t know what MMA is to even want to watch the sport. They need to do atleast a 30 - 60 second promo for this event and focus on MMA and the Organization alltogether. It looks like they are just branding Kimbo Slice here…that isn’t the way you want to advertise your brand.

They need to sign a real fighter. I cannot see how Kimbo is a good intro for free TV. You would think someone would want this kind of exposure and sign with them, even if they were underpaid to start. Kimbo is not legit until he proves it.

Why would people in the mid-west want to see some thug on their TV? Who is going to respect that? Kimbo is just a street thug until proven otherwise. Real heavyweights would kill him, especially on the ground.
