Report: Leonard Garcia arrested in connection to El Paso cocaine ring
Posted by Adam MorganWEC featherweight Leonard Garcia has been arrested in connection with an El Paso, TX cocaine ring, according to a report from KCBD NewsChannel 11 in Lubbock, TX:
Thirteen members of an alleged drug trafficking organization are off Lubbock streets after a four-year investigation. Authorities say the cocaine ring spans from El Paso to the Hub City.
NewsChannel 11 has learned one of those arrested is mixed martial arts fighter Leonard Garcia. He was arrested Tuesday in allege connection with the cocaine ring. Garica is currently ranked sixth in the featherweight class in MMA. He has fought in UFC and Ultimate Fighting championships.
If convicted, three of those arrested could face up to 40 years in prison and up to a $2 million fine. The others could face up to life in prison and up to a $ 4 million fine.
Let’s all hope that Garcia isn’t heavily mixed up in this and they just brought him in for questioning. Only time will tell how it plays out and with these things, it usually takes a lot of time. We’ll bring you any updates to this story as it progresses.

Anybody in MMA who is buying, selling or using ‘roids should take a long, hard look at this story. ‘Roids are a controlled substance, and it’s every bit as criminal to traffic in them as it is to deal coke or what have you. The fact that there’s a ‘roids culture and some level of acceptance in sports doesn’t change the law or the consequences.
He wasn’t at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Anybody that knows that fool know that he has been doing that for a very long time. He’s a narc and he lies about everything. He was always a punk in school and running away from fights. He has let his friends fight his fights for him outside of clubs and he jumps in then finishes them off. What kind of person does that. Leonard wasn’t a great person. He would never claim his kids. He would threaten his baby mommas, and if they even mentioned Child Support he would flip. He has never done anything for his kids. He could buy expensive cars and make these trips. But couldn’t afford to stop by and see his kids. So, I guess he won’t be missed. You could have anything in the World but without your kids love you have nothing… have fun in prison…

my heart goes out to his kids…. believe me it hurts them… leonard i hope that you get a chance to read all this….and i hope you feel as much pain as you have endured on all the people you hurt. especially the ones who did not ask to be brought into this world… i hope that you think about the many chances you had to make things right, to call on birthdays, holidays, be a real father and role modle to these kids… you say how much family meant to you… but you never showed your own blood how much you cared. now all these females are left to raise these kids and later tell them what an ass their father really was… may god have mercy on you… I pray that he touches your heart and makes you open your eyes…. you could’ve had it all…. but you chose to throw it all away… many tried to help you change, but you pushed those away. now you will be able to feel the helplessness, hurt, pain, worthlessness, and lonliness that you have bestowed upon others… treat others like you would like to be treat, guess mama forgot to teach you that.. hard lesson learned… but you new this day would come….

Man I first met Leonard when I started going to the clubs, and everyone who really knows him is right. He’s a fucking bumb who liked to party and get with as many hoes as he could. Him, his lil drug crew and his ugly ass brothers, Manual and Bobby. Well I guess i wont be seeing him at the clubs for a while….haha.

Its true that Leonard has a background in the drug business with his gang, (G Unit) but if you know him personally, your probably not any better than him. I met him a few times and is one of the nicest persons I ever met in my life, we trained together a few times with Damacio Page and Duane Cerroni along with Leonard and learned some great MMA moves. I had hoped with his fame in MMA that he would leave that life of the streets, but I guess its easier said than done. Am I glad he’s locked up? NO. Am I glad those drugs are off the streets? YES. Thank goodness we dont have to reveal our names on here because if we did I wouldnt post what I am about to post…I AM ASHAMED to say that I am one of those unfortunate females who has a baby by him..HOWEVER..I am proud to say that despite the many “threats” I DID TAKE HIS ASS TO COURT FOR CHILD SUPPORT.. :).. and YES he does acknowledge MY son. I went to high school with Leonard and he was always super cool to me and never tried to put me in his little black book. Sometimes wen there is no one to turn to you to to the wrong people and end up in the wrong places. Leonard was always wanted to fit in and finally found a place but it just wasnt the right place.
