Mark Kerr and Ricco Rodriguez announced for YAMMA Pit Fighting’s first event

YAMMA Pit Fighting issued a press release today announcing that Ricco Rodriguez and Mark Kerr have been added to the promotion’s inaugural show on April 11 in Atlantic City, NJ.

Rodriguez will participate in the eight-man, single-night heavyweight tournament while Kerr replaces Pat Smith in a Superfight vs. Oleg Taktarov.

Updated: FiveOuncesOfPain.com (www.FiveOuncesOfPain.com) has learned through the New Jersey Athletic Control Board that Mark Kerr has not yet been approved for YAMMA’s first show. There are questions whether he will get approved because he’s still under suspension in the state of Connecticut.

You should ask the NJACB if they will let Gary Goodridge fight even though he was ko’ed by Choi Mu Bae over the weekened in South Korea.

YAMMA has potential but this is a REAL shaky start.

This is the risk of having “Masters” fights. These guys are old. They get hurt…and knocked out….and suspended….(and arrested).
