You could tell who were ready for the challenge of an immediate fight in 48 hours and who were scared. I respect the guys who had the good attitude and wanted to beat down their opponent. No disrespect to Brown, but before he gassed Hall looked as if he better skills. I guess everybody has to show up in shape and ready to fight in future seasons, which makes sense for several reasons. There certainly is a great pool to draw from should injury or idiocy eliminate fighters along the way. Much better crop of competition and experience than last season. Riddle has a finisher's instincts - one of the coaches said that, and while he might need to watch his yapper, his ungainly, wild style worked last night. The highlights for the rest of the season seem to take us back to the normal antics of the show though, that have become tiring. Hopefully it's less of that then the trailer actually showed.
