Its hard to tell with the MW division as it is but both Bisping and Leben seem pretty ave to me, in the grand sceme of things that is. Only time will tell I guess.

i know he just move down to middleweight, but michael bisping looked pretty damn good. he would a few more matches against a gatekeeper or two but would a future bout between bisping and franklin be a possible bout for 09?

On #3 you both forgot how hard it was to convince Dan Henderson to fight at 185 again before he signed to fight Silva. Hendo and Franklin are already rumored to face off, why not make it a 205 bout that Hendo probably wants and Franklin could use as a gage?

So it will be a LHW fight, just between two natural Mids

I agree with #1 and I think Huckaby takes it also because of his rational about figthers being cut.
the loser of Soko vs Nakamura will most likely be cut.. which is entirely unfair because IMO it’s going to be Nakamura and I’d like to see him some more.

Got to go with Huckaby based on his analysis of the 3.0 EXC rating.

It is Saturday evening, a traditional death Valley for TV viewership, especially with all the alternatives amongst programming these days.

And remember, there are no ridiculous actors salaries or writers to pay, and CBS is sharing the bill with EXC.

imo, the ratings could be reasonably mediocre and this still be deemed a success.

I may be off here, but I do think that some high expectations are being placed on this by some of us fans.
