Tomorrow should be an interesting day, as I be be taking in a combat sports double-header. Have no fear, as I will be submitting timer-released content to the site before I leave the site.

I’ll be headed down to Delaware in the afternoon to check out Combat Zone Wrestling’s annual “Tournament of Death” and will then venture up to Newark (Delaware) for Combat in the Cage’s 12th Strike at the Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club.

The card will start at 8 pm E.T. and feature 17 amateur bouts plus one pro fight. The night’s main event will be a pro fight between Derek Hopkins, the Muay Thai coach at the Fight Factory, taking on Joe Stripling from 302 BJJ (a Balance affiliate).

There will also be three title fights on the card, including Jesus Martinez from the Fight Factory defending the Combat in the Cage middleweight title vs. Charlie Joseph; Tim Williams vs. Kyle Braun for the vacant Combat in the Cage cruiserweight title; and Will Martinez from the Fight Factory fighting David Price for the Combat in the Cage interim lightweight title.

Jeff Cressman from Daddis Fight Camps, which is also home to Jon Murphy, Matt Makowski, and Aaron Miesner, will be taking on Kevin Papics in a bantamweight bout.
