“MMA Live” on ESPN.com (video)
Here’s the video of last night’s first ever “MMA Live” television show on ESPN.com, hosted by UFC lightweight Kenny Florian, ESPN’s John Anik, and Franklin McNeil from the Newark Star-Ledger. Pretty darn good if you ask me. I’d love to see this show end up on ESPN or ESPN2.

Would someone please explain to me how John Anik is hosting this show when he can’t even pronounce Urijah Faber’s name correctly?

That show was done very well IMO.

Awesome… Florian and McNeil should get better as they gain more experience. Fans should make sure to vote for the show and drop a comment on the video to push it up the most commented list and highest rated list. Lets get this show on ESPN!

UFC is blowing it without a show like that..Or a show with a in depth interview of a fighters..It seems like Zuffa and Dana, all the care about is PPV buys with the $$ and TUF shows in my opionion is alittle boring to me..

paddiosf…I disagree…Zuffa is actively trying to get MMA sanctioned all over the place…and they’ve improved the UFC Countdown shows 100%…also…if you were making millions I don’t think you’d think it was boring.

It’s fun for me b/c I went to high school with Jon Anik and I knew him pretty well.

Well I enjoyed the show even if the ending line was hilariously bad. “On behalf of Kenny Florian, the other dude and that chick… I’m John Anic” If you think about it… it makes very little sense.
I found it pretty funny also when Florian got asked if there were any potential contenders in the middleweight division on TUF. “No.”

Instantly better than the now boring and amateurish Inside MMA on HDNET.

This is a great show for the casual fan, especially with segments like the one explaining a RNC. Should help in promoting the sport.

The show was done very well and I’d love to see it on ESPN someday soon. John Anik did a really good job
