I watched the show. Pretty good overall. The Pyle/Hornbuckle fight was very good. Randleman was a shell of his former self…non aggressive on his feet, scoring the occasional takedown but unable to do anything with it. Boring bout, but I’m glad to see he’s back. Roger Gracie looked calm and smooth as silk. His transition from side mount to full mount was textbook, appearing to work on one move while actually setting up another. Barnett/Monson wasn’t the most exiting but pretty much went as expected. The standup was uneventful with Barnett using his reach advantage to throw some jabs, and the plumb clinch to throw a few knees (none doing any damage) The ground game was slow, little ground n pound or fancy sub attempts. Not a bad fight concidering neither has the exiting standup of Silva or thrilling ground game as Penn. Just two guys fighting the the same styles they always do.

Hahaha – no mention of the fact that Jeff and Josh are friends and training partners – spoke at the glove touch, spoke between rounds, and both of them laughed in the 3rd round while grappling.

They laughed when Barnett was attempting a RNC. I wonder if it’s because Monson has no neck to choke.

I actually think they laughed because the mat made a farting noise.

    I’m not joking.

barnett looked the leanest i’ve ever seen him, his sides no longer hang over the top of his shorts. his conditioning was also great.

the randleman fight was boring but he looked fantastic physically compared to mark kerr just a few weeks ago at yamma.

the rest of the show was good.
