Neither Slice nor Carano are at the top of their classes but they are more well-known than all but few UFC fighters. He's also done a good job of snapping up some memorable talent from the UFC and Pride like Scott Smith, Nick Diaz, James Thompson, and don't forget he has Jake Shields who is actually a legitimate top10 WW, even top5 in some people's books.
