is it just me or do you like Matt more after hearing that
Hughes lost 4 pounds or not, even if he made weigh Alves wouldv’e won anyway..Hughes is a UFC great but his better days are behind him…Serra/Hughes should happen..unforunately for Alves he will be criticized and more than likely booed or will not be excepted and addition to that he will have to fight to gain respect by the sometime overly critical fans..It’s to bad cause I think he’s a good guy…
I think for the first time in my life I actually feel bad for Matt Hughes.
He made no excuse for his loss, didn’t even mention the weight difference. Just all class.

Maybe Hughes isn’t such a bad guy after all. Maybe he just uses the trash talk to amp himself up for his fights. Heck, maybe he’s secretly drinking buddies with Matt Serra.
Alves is s a joke.
Why do people give him a pass for not making weight, yet make a HUGE issue out of Lutter/Carano?
Especially since he walked in looking like a 180lb roid freak.
