Maybe he got himself confused with Gina Carano and thought that maybe the UFC would make a special division just for him to be champ in. Getting a win at a catchweight bout should not advance your standing in a real weight division. I agree that it was lame how he wasn’t forced to try for an hour in the sauna (like Lutter). He just walked into the fight without having to take the extra toll of cutting that last few pounds. What was Hughes supposed to say? “No, You didn’t meet your commitment so let’s just cancel the main event.” LOL. Shame on Alves!

Bisping will have to show a whole lot more in his game before I can believe him able to fight his way to the top of the UFC’s current 185lbs division.
