Former IFL fighter faces rape charges
This story has been out there for a couple of days, but I somehow missed it.
According to Sherdog.com, former NCAA All-American wrestler and ex-IFL heavyweight fighter Devin Cole was charged with first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sexual penetration in Medford, Oregon over the weekend.
Cole competed for Portland Wolfpack and the Seattle Tigersharks in the IFL and compiled a 2-4 record. His most recent fight took place in May in Lemoore, Calif. on a card for the Palace Fighting Championships. Cole defeated Vince Lucero via TKO.

#3 Brian, there is no need to be a smart ass about it. Therefore, I should just assume you’re down with those kinds of thing’s since that’s all you have to say, hmmm?
Devin is innocent until proven guilty nonetheless but, those are some pretty serious charges to stand up to. I said people who do those things ought to be shot. I never said he was guilty. He will have his day in court and his fate will be decided by his peer’s. That’s fair, no?

Devin has been “accused” of these charges, not “convicted”. I can only hope that someday, someone close to you is not “accused” of some heinous crime and you have to go through what this family is going through. Maybe you won’t be so quick to be the judge and jury when it’s your mom, dad, brother, sister or friend………
