CB weakass chin is so ‘suspect’ that it gets called to stand in on every police line-up for street level con men. Amir has had 2 more months of sprawl training, ground defense and submission training with Forest’s crew. This does not go past the second round before the ‘blue chipper’ goes lights out. Two months later, CB signs on for an Affliction undercard with another 10 more UFC castoffs.

Your analogy fails miserably. First, the fighters don’t the house, you own yours. In fact, the Fertittas own both properties (the house and the casino), what is acceptable on one leads one to believe it is acceptable on the other.

I am not defending his actions. I think the guy is an idiot. But it follows from accepting poor behavior in general.

Take a logic class before you call someone an “idiot”.

It doesn’t seem like CB likes getting punched too much. If he’s not the aggressor, he seems like a different fighter. I don’t know the guy, but i just don’t get the impression that he would have took the beating like Tim did in round 2 and keep fighting. I hope CB wins, i think he’s got more potenial to contend than Amir. On a side note-Jesse looks like Big JOhn Mcarthy

#22, I think the real kicker is that team Forrest had Cameron who despite all the rest of the noise during each match I could hear perfectly. Team Rampage not bringing a BJJ guy in was probly a mistake in the end seeing how well Cameron did in making gameplans and teaching all of Team Forrests guys what to do on the ground.

Jesse was the best fighter on the show this season. He dominated in every fight. I really liked Amir’s style–low key, no trash talk or nonsense–and you have to give him respect for finding ways to win against fighters who seemed better. But Jesse would’ve been too strong and physical for Amir. The beating he put on Credeur was impressive, and I question whether Amir is better than Credeur. It’s too bad that Jesse imploded for himself but also for the show, because it will be anticlimactic to have the best fighter and the clear favorite on the sidelines.

I don’t see how Amir is the underdog in his re-match as long as he keeps his head straight. CB is the one who should be worried because he gave Amir his best shot and came up short.

I didn’t think CB looked good in either of those fights. Hit him on the jaw and he instantly gasses. If he learns that you can’t load up on every punch he might improve his stand up. He was almost dropped in both fights so he’s got a long way to go.

The officials gave him way to much credit for the take-downs. Seems to me if you take your opponent down and lay on him for a minute to rest (or to keep from getting hit) it should count against you – not win you the round. Same thing happened with Dante – laying on the other guy should loose you the round, not win it.

Don’t get me wrong, I think if you take a guy down and pound him like “CoCo the monkey” then it’s like icing on top of the ice cream.

I really think that training w/ Rampage was a huge disadvantage to training w/ Forrest.

Forrest is a conditioning machine and he trained all his guys in that style. Didn’t really see much from Rampage coaching wise aside from being a funny, cool guy.

You saw that one show where Rampage was sleeping. In cornering you never really heard anything from him aside from a “don’t do that”, which in most cases was too late. He didn’t even show up to the semifinal fight picks. And I’ve never never really seen his corner guys in anybody else’s corner at a major event.

I really want to know if CB would have had more in the tank in the 3rd round had he been w/ Forrests’ team.

Gotta say….I was quite unimpressed with CB’s two fights last night. He basically laid on top of Amir once he got him down…almost no ground and pound. I know he gassed early, but he was booooring. For the fight with Tim, CB’s strategy was to hurl himself at Tim to get him down and then……nothing. Boooooring again. Good thing that Tim was skilled at getting back on his feet.

I thought CB was the top dog this season, but his last two fights have been unimpressive. I hope someone teaches him a ground game over the next couple of weeks….or at least teaches him what to do after he gets his opponent on the ground.

I thought that last night’s episode of TUF was outstanding. The CB/Amir fight was fireworks and ended in dramatic fashion. That is one of the reason’s I love this sport. Amir Shadollah – what else can you say about that kid? Deffinatly Nogueira-esque in that he can take a beating then turn the tide in an instant. I am taking him over CB on Saturday, this one should be an all out war.

I really think we’ll be seeing two different fighter’s than we saw on the show. They have had a full training camp to prepare and most of their nagging injuries from the show have probably healed by now. TUF is a very hard thing for someone to go thru and I feel it’s an excellent concept for the UFC to have in place. They get to see a lot more than us fans do and can evaluate someone’s character over the course of those six weeks. In the end, all of the bad apples are gone and the good one’s will still be there, wheter they a fight lost or not.

Amir, Tim and CB all have bright future’s ahead. I think they’ll stay end up staying with Zuffa (WEC/UFC) one another after Saturday, win or lose. I think the same could be said for Dolce, Dante, Gerald. Those guys have been in the IFL already and have seen what it takes to be a pro MMA fighter. I know I’m forgetting a few others too.

I really hope Jesse Taylor learns his lesson here. You can’t act like that and not expect some kind of karma. He got the hammer and I am sure he’s feeling it right now. He messed up and he know’s now more than anything how bad it is. With help from his family and friend’s, Jesse can help himself. However, he has to want to change and nobody can do that but himself. Best of luck JT Money. Take care of yourself.

This Saturday is going to be awesome. I can’t wait. Fireworks baby, it’s going down.

# 17 why does everything have to be a conspiracy theory, and how can you compare him to chuck liddell, chuck was traveling alot and doing a shitload of pr and interviews as well as being on medication for an illness, some of you guys are just purely jealous of some of these fighters success and the money they make, if you put as much time and effort in making something of your own life instead of bashing other people you may be successful in your own endeavors, the ufc booted babaloogie for shit like that so why shouldnt they do the same to an unproven knucklehead who did something so rediculous as kicking out a window of a limousine

I saw JT’s actions, mainly excessive drinking, as very unprofessional for someone who wishes to be the best in their chosen profession. He acted a fool, and got treated like a fool. Dana did right by removing him. Once he gets his act together, and learns that alcohol, and being a TOP fighter don’t mix, he’ll be back, and better for it.CB has the potential to be a great fighter, but his cardio is suspect in my opinion. Amir subbed him only after he gassed in Rd 3. Amir is already well-rounded and will only get better as stated by DW.
Credeur’s loss was disappointing, why in He!! he didnt attempt “all the submissions in the book” Vs. CB, when CB was again somewhat gassed in Rd3, is beyond me. He must not have watched CB-Amir very closely.

In the end, the UFC will ALWAYS get what they want. They probbly anxiously waited for SOMEONE to do SOMETHING wrong in which they could cite that they violated theiur contract and BRING BACK THEIR GOLDEN BOY, in which they already started hyping.

I will bet that the UFC had attorneys search and search for any reason to get rid of Jesse. the it fell right in their lap.

Chuck Liddel can go on NATIONAL TV slurring so badly that, you, nor the interviewer could understand. And that was when HE WASNT STRAIGHT OUT PASSED OUT.

That, they UFC swept under the rug , neatly. But, boring lay and pray Jesse….The UFC were probably savagedly foaming at the mouth when they seen what he ad done, and more off, what they could do to him!!!

that was bs. i’m not a fan of jesse’s, but he got screwed. if cb were in his shoes, no way dana gives him the ax. cb is more popular, more marketable, and is probably the better all around fighter. jesse’s got a few screws loose upstairs, but i think he should’ve been sat down and given a serious talking to about his alcohol problem and give him like a zero tolerance deal, where if he screws up again, he’s gone. but, i don’t think the final fight will disappoint despite this. cb will probably win and then dana can hype up amir-cb III to make his wallet even fatter than it already is.

CB kinda underwhelmed me in his past two fights, he’s got a future though.

I do love the underdog though haha, Amir is awesome and he’s an RVA kid so I have to back him.

As for the training camps, from what we heard C.B. will be training at ACS, and I’m still not clear on where Amir trains but Forrest will make sure it’s somewhere he’s going to learn and excel at.
