I'm not saying I knew Thomson would win (I didn't) but the difference between them was probably marginal. Gilbert doesn't have KO power or elite striking. He's tough as nails and is strong with very good BJJ. But he might be the most overrrated LW since any current Japanese LW. I hear ya Huck. With the deciding question being the Evan Tanner retirement I have to say Caplan and Junkie made really good arguements. Tanner did look old and done but at the same time maybe this is the best way for him to make decent money; albeit for 2-3 more fights. Realistically though, at Tanner's age continuing to fight is only prolonging the inevitable. I don't know. Bartender!! Give me another drink!! I call this one a sister kisser.
