Strikeforce results: Thomson upsets Melendez!

Josh Thomson came out and didn’t care if he was fighting a friend and training partner. Thomson won all five rounds with his accurate striking that most fans have never seen. Melendez was unable to counter the relentless left body kicks, straight right kicks, punch combos and seven takedowns that Thomson featured!

    HAH! Knew Thompson was gonna pull this one out, Melendez has been in a spiral lately!

    I don’t think i’ve ever seen you post..

    anyway,
    I’m so happy for Thomson. I knew he would win. I haven’t seen any of his fights aside from the ones he had back with the UFC, but those were enough to make me confident..

    great job to Thomson, he really deserved this..

    ps- i hope you don’t catch any flack for putting a result in the headline.. there’s a few guys that crazy over that stuff :)

    There’s some inaccurate info here. My boy Eric Lawson was fighting Jesse Gillespie and won by rear naked choke only 1:03 into Round 1.
