UFC 86 Video: Rampage Jackson Interview

July 5, 2008 by Sam Caplan

There are some interesting comments from Rampage here, as he goes so far as to say that Forrest Griffin isn’t one of the most feared fighters in the light heavyweight division and that he basically only took the fight because he’s paid to do so.

    That cracked me up.

Griffin has never displayed the skill set to make other fighters fear him. That doesn’t mean he’s not a great fighter though.

Rampage showed him respect. It is true, what top 10 fighter lists do you see Forrest on? None. If he loses to Forrest, that is a different story, but if he wins.. nobody is going to bump him up much still.

I loved the interview, funny and honest.

Forrest in on every top ten fighter list, and Rampage cant move up since he’s Numero Uno on every one.
