The guy has had TWO major knee operations and will not have fought in over a year. Seriously, put him on the undercard against a couple of japanese cans first. I think we all know what was going on with some guys over there, the same thing that is going on here, except they have to hide it better. I agree that I would rather see him out longer and heal up better, if that is the case. However, it is far from uncommon to have follow up surgeries after injuries like this. I think we are going to see more and more emphasis on leg kicks in the UFC, thanks to Jardine/Chuck and Forrest/Rampage, and that worries me for guys like Shogun.
