I just wanted to point out that Don Koch, not Dan Koch defeated Joe Pond. Don is a friend of my who trains out of Ephrata Martial Arts, keep an eye on him. He’s a sick wrestler with insane cardio plus he hits hard as hell! I unfortunately couldn’t make it, but from what my coach says Don destroyed Joe, I can’t wait to watch the video!

I’m not trying to take anything away from anybody. I totally agree all the fighters did fight their hearts out and it’s great that he is a supporter of mma of the local area because we need as many of them as we can get. Just had a disagreement and wanted to point out a few things like Dan Flounders not getting mentioned for winning the title that night. I think that’s a huge accomplishment and should be recognized.

Jeff, there was nothing friendly in the tone of your comments and I think you know that. And I did give some of the winning fighters recognition. I’m fine with disagreements, just show some respect and be accurate.

I was there and as an unbiased observer name one good thing Joe Pond did the entire fight besides not run and hide. It’s fine if you mention fighters that lost but give the ones that won a little recognition. It’s great that you post these results I’m just voicing my opinion which is what these comment boxes are for. Is there a problem with a little friendly disagreement?

Destroyed? I don’t agree with that assessment, at all. If that’s how you saw it, that’s your opinion. He got beat via unanimous decision, as noted in the result. I didn’t know I was obligated not to mention fighters that lost.

And give these guys some credit? What are you talking about? What other major MMA site posted these results? What other site has promoted Philly, Jersey, and Delaware fighters more than 5 Oz. of Pain? Your comments are offbase.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t Joe Ponds get destroyed that night? It wasn’t even close. Way to give the other guy some recognition. Also Dan Flounders won the belt, shouldn’t that be something important to mention. Give these guys some credit.
