I think this will be the best fight card ever. The four event is an awesome idea and with the fsn additional fights it is perfect. I haven’t anticipated a fight like I have for this card. I hope Fedor crushes Sylvia to silence the critics.

Where is the undercard in Houston? They have the freakin Texas Rangers playing from like 6-10 on FSN. I have Dish Network. Anyone else found it on Dish? Help plz -I have to see Aleks v Buentello…

They are showing something called Affliction LIVE! at 1:00am…that may be it, just tape delayed…for the Rangers game..in Houston..WTF??

Anyway, let me know if you know anything about it…

Awesome news, since the Philly area has CSN in lieu of FSN on Comcast, but does this mean the actual PPV will start at 6 est?

I know everyone knew it was aring, but has anyone heard about the size?
In a recent interview Mark Hominick, who will be competing on Golden Boy Affliction: Banned undercard this Saturday against Savant Young, mentioned yet another feature to be included in the clothing company’s inaugural MMA showcase:

“You know, it’s gonna be the biggest heavyweight card of all time, especially on North American soil. And, you know, they’re bringing in the biggest ring ever in the States, so it’s gonna be huge, you know, room to play. So I’m gonna be excited to be in there… I’m a kickboxer. I trade, and I love the ring. I’ve talked to Savant, he likes the ring too.”

It’s difficult to report this and not make mention of the IFL’s once proposed fancy gimmick ring “The Hex” which was a failed idea before it ever got off the ground.

I give Affliction credit for breaking the bank to obtain over-sized rings and metal bands and all that fun stuff, but I do hope they remember that some people are actually supposed to fight that night as well.

“FSN will air three bouts”

Does this mean it will start even earlier than 8PM Eastern on FSN? Or will they try to pack in all three fights into an hour?

It’s awesome the UFC card will be airing at midnight after the Affliction card!

Great for me. I am a hardcore mma fan and the more of this bickering and competition is only better for the fans. I have been saying for the longest time that it is COMPLETE horseshit to have to pay $54.99 for HD PPV then have to pay to see the undercard fights on UFC.com????? That is just greedy. Good for affliction for showing ENTIRE card for the price advertised, maybe this trend will catch on!!!!

Anyhow, if the Affliction show is successful, then all it can mean to fans is more and better opportunites to see more mma!!!!
