Silva TKO
Vera SUB.
Franca Un. Dec
Cain TKO
Anthony TKO
CB Un. Dec
Tim Un. Dec
Rory TKO
Nate Un. Dec
Blackburn TKO
Gugerty SUB.

O'Brien is going to get smashed. Anderson silva could lose but unlikely. the Fight of the nights will be the two fights that we don't get to see. Blackburn's fight and Gugerty's fight. I am excited to finally see Rory in the UFC!! Franca's fight will be a stalemate of epic preportions. I think the CB fight will be the most boring fight of the night with my opportunity to make a bathroom run during this time. We get to see six of the 11 fights. Too bad. Affliction is showing ALL of their fights on PPV and FSN. I LOVE FREE MMA!!!!!! I will see 7 hours of MMA Saturday!! Woo Hoo!!

I'm really surprised you're picking a decision in the O'Brien/Velasquez fight Caplan, and even more surprised #4 is picking O'Brien.

From Velasquez's fights to all the rave reviews he's been receiving from people training him or who have seen him train, the guy seems like a certified beast. I think Cain dominates Jake.

"A poor performance by either and it could mean they are gone from the UFC for good."

No way either would be gone for good. Maybe sent back down to the minors to build up a couple other wins but they would be welcomed back. The UFC invested too much into them and minus Sadollah and Riddle nothing else will come out of that season.

Hooray for Murder!! Silva definitely has to watch a fast move early like the Superman punch or flying knee, but I think he's too good to get caught by anything.

I have to agree with #1. I don't think size is going to be much of a difference here. Silva will probably weigh 210 at fight time, while Irvin will probably weigh 215-220. Silva still has the reach and while he may not be able to hit harder, he's going to be quicker and more accurate. Irvin has a puncher's chance, but the odds are stacked heavily against him.

I think the Silva/Irvin fight ends in the first round. It's not even going to be close. Yes, Irvin will likely have a weight advantage over Silva, but theyre the same height and Silva has a 2.5 inch reach advantage over Irvin (77.5 inches to 75 inches -- I checked to see what they had listed on the UFC 79 and UFC 82 DVDs). Even if Irvin has more weight coming from behind his punches, Silva's lightning quick speed will negate that.

Irvin has made it clear that his game plan is to stand and trade and it's doubtful it would be anything else. You really think that Anderson Silva with a (slight) reach advantage won't be able to take Irvin out with one of his devastating combos? Rich Franklin is a big middleweight and we all know what Silva did to his face. Even Dan Henderson is a big guy (and former Pride Light Heavyweight champ) and we saw Silva's striking lead to the eventual choke out.

I would be extremely surprised if this lasts more than 5 minutes.
