Andrei Arlovski?? they fought again a month or 2 later and he couldn't KO him again.. and then he went 5 rounds with Monson w/o hurting him ONCE.. then went 5 rounds with couture.. in which he got completely out-classed, and dominated in the STRIKING GAME [i.e. his forte'] Then he couldn't put out an injured Vera. He figured, instead of using reach, he could just close the distance [which, even though it worked, is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard for someone who's 6'8, but i guess he was afraid of Vera's striking] And finally, we saw him rock Nog time and time again, but he didn't have the "POWER" to put him away.. after that little rundown, i'd say a KO over Fedor.. would be purely luck.. Sylvia doesn't strike like he did in his "KO days" anymore.. he strikes to stay away, and to stay safe.. he jabs.. and occasionally throws a big one.. and goes right back to the jabs.. the only thing he's got going for him in this one.. is his wild counters.. like the one that put AA down.. other than that.. i think Fedor will be all over him.. and i think that Tim will eventually just crumble under the pressure.. “he has knockout power and is one of the top 5 HWs in the world”

Fedors all round game is amazing and he could armbar Sylvia on the ground but I dont think he will be able to get Sylvia down as easily as everyone thinks he will. Sylvia's takedown defense is awesome and the ring will help him even more. In fact I think it will be a stand up battle for most of the fight, with Tim getting the better of it. Sylvia looks like shit when he fights but no one can deny he has some of the best hands, in terms of boxing, in MMA. He will pepper and blast Fedor with his right all night and although Fedor might take him down at some point I think Tims ground game is just about good enough to avoid an armbar/G'n'P finish. Sylvia will win via 4th or 5th TKO. Or if not then a decision.
