B.J. Penn and Sean Sherk hangin’ out, filming NBC Sports reality television show (video)
Here’s a video from B.J. Penn’s website of what appears to be Penn, Sean Sherk, Heath Herring, Mark Delagrotte, Dana White, and a few others flying to some ridiculous mansion in Santa Barbara for a film session of a reality show on NBC Sports. Which reality show? That’s the big question. Oh, and Sean Sherk and B.J. Penn being buddy-buddy? Weird.

If you can’t beat em join em?
Proof that it’s always just hype.
3 things…
1. Waking up Herring could have been real funny if he had someone in bed with him.
2. All the hate is hype, these guys are pros.
3. That promo looked awful with the cheap camera effects.
Business is Business
It’s interesting that everyone is assuming the hype was fabricated and not this current “friendship”, despite them obviously only being together to film a show.
Of course, the fact that people care more to comment on the rivalry than the prospect of a mainstream show featuring mma fighters is indicative of people’s priorities in the first place.
Simco…again…these guys are pros and hype is part of what sells PPV’s.
Who knows, they may did hate each other and then got over it after a good ass kickin. Few guys I train with I didn’t like until we beat each other up a few times. Now, I have respect for them.
Then again, it isn’t all that way. Hype is part of the game.
Herring looks yoked and ready to bring it.
Anyone know what the blueprint is going to be for this NBC reality MMA show that BJ and Sherk were filming? Is it going to be like TUF, Iron Ring, Fight Girls?
Fight girls?
What’s that?

It was a TUF like show for women but it was mainly Muay Thai…it was actually pretty good. Vera’s wife and Gina (she was a coach)was on it.
Cool. Thanks.
I can’t watch a catfight, but I’m all for professional female MMA. As long as the sport isn’t promoted as a spectacle or belittled like the WNBA, I think the women have a bright future as bad ass combatants.

Fight Girls was on the Oxygen network, women’s programming.
The girls all lived in a house together and trained with Master Toddy. It was strictly Muay Thai, not MMA, with the winners of the fights going to Thailand to fight Thai women. MOst of the US girls won.
Gina Carrano and Lisa King were the coaches, though the girls were not split into teams like TUF..they all trained together until private time with their coach for a couple of days before their fights.
It was well done, some drama, and some really solid fights (and some attractive and in shape women).

i believe his wife a competitor not a coach.
im surprised nobody mentioned the obnoxious music, made mma look like CRIBS or ACCESS HOLLYWOOD
