CBS Saturday Night Fights III: Oct 4 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

During last night’s CBS/EXC event, it was announced that the third installment of Saturday Night Fights will take place at the Bank Atlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This location is the backyard of the headliner for that event, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson. It was also announced that Gina Carano would be on the card as well.

Immediate speculation is that outspoken Brett Rogers would be Kimbo’s opponent, but it’s too early to tell.

And after last night’s brutal beatdown of Shayna Baszler, the online message boards are already calling for a Carano vs. Cyborg matchup.

CBS/EXC is holding their 3rd show in a crowded month of MMA. Later in October, both Affliction and UFC are scheduled to hold their own events.

    brett v. kimbo and gina v. cyborg wont happen in oct. I would imagine that it would happen in jan on elitexc’s first PPV
