Tickets for Saturday Night Fights III already on sale

July 31, 2008 by Sam Caplan

In the past, EliteXC has been late to finalize shows and the end result has been a short turnaround time to sell tickets to its live events.

However, it’s looks like the promotion is learning from past mistakes as tickets for CBS’ Saturday Night Fights III on Oct. 4 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. at the BankAtlantic Center are already on sale through Ticketmaster outlets.

While the card has yet to be finalized, EliteXC announced during Saturday Night Fights II this past weekend that both Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and Gina Carano will be returning to action during the event.

Selling tickets with NO FIGHTS yet determined. Maybe they’ll do worse than last time. Maybe they’ll announce tjat Kimbo is fighting Tank’s dad next fight, cuz they sure aint giving him a credible opponent after the last fight

Really? I bet they could sell that place out w/ Gina’s groupies alone.

Really Kimbo vs. Carano? Not sure about that match up….

If they don’t put Kimbo up against a credible opponent this time around he’s done as far as ever being taken seriously as a pro fighter.

And I can only hope they’ll make the Gina/Cyborg match b/c that will be a bad ass fight.

kimbo slice is nothing but a oversized wuss !! He has ZERO fighting skills ! I hope he gets his a** beat at the next event !

That’s why they need to put him up against someone like Ken Shamrock. Someone who is kinda washed up in the sport but can draw a crowd because of his history in MMA. Tank Abbott was a good choice for a build up but there needs to be someone who can drag the fight out a little. Not just come out and try to knock Kimbo out.

kimbo vs ken sham would be nice actually, except for the fact that ken would prob sub kimbo by leglock
